New York and Montana Attack the Attack on Net Neutrality
As you know by now, the US’s Federal Communications Commission voted to repeal net neutrality, meaning carriers can block or throttle material (including your website), charge higher fees to access certain sites and so forth.
But the states of New York and Montana are fighting back with executive orders to prohibit carriers from blocking, throttling or prioritizing content or applications, and from charging consumers different or higher rates to access specific types of content or applications.
2 states down and 48 to go.
